Well I learned what the bike does when it runs out of gas today. Forutunatley I remembered to shut-off the Petcock at a stop I made today...unfortunately I forgot to open it

Rode 110 miles this morning at sunrise. The bike is running Tip-Top!!

It's one of those things that happens to the best of us. Of course my brother gets me back in his own way if he uses my bike.



I flip the petcock all the time where as he flips the killswitch

but I hate the killswitch and he hates flipping the petcock.

After swapping out the carbs a while back I was so, so pleased with myself over how many miles I was getting till the "reserve switch over, find a petrol station" moment came. At this point I discovered that I hadn't flipped back to normal after re-fuelling, and knew what running out was like. It had to happen on the motorway too. Nearly froze to death waiting for a friend to turn up with a spare gallon.
