Filming rebuild project

Good morning from 0 degree Boise! I am working on tearing apart my 81 GL500 and video recording every step for my own benefit. Would this be something I should post on Youtube to possibly help others? I am no mechanic but usually work on my own stuff. I dont know half of what I am looking at until I grab a manual. I am having a great time doing this and just wanted some feedback on if others might benefic from it or just enjoy watching me make a fool of myself. I am trying to do it in 10 minute segments and pre loosening everything so the videos are not painfully slow. Curious what the community thinks of the idea.

That's pretty cool! I am pretty sure people not interested in bikes would pay to not have to watch my video. It is a fun project but everyone in my family thinks what I view as "fun" is pretty much the opposite of fun. Thanks for responding guys!

I honestly have no interest in using Youtube for anything other than finding information. At 45 years, I am tech savvy enough but pretty old school in thought and dont plan to change that. I would post videos for the purpose of sharing info. Other people posting DIY videos have saved me countless thousands of dollars in hiring others to do work for me. It might feel pretty good to be the guy helping someone else for a change. I will look into posting soon.
Stupid question, does it cost me if I Subscribe to a channel?
If it does, I am in trouble. I believe it just helps the video creator ($ for them) and saves them in your Youtube library making it easier to access their videos.

I took some time off due to moving. Back at it and making progress. Should have it mostly together this coming weekend.

Also, this hose is tight but works fine. $10 on Amazon and you get a set of radiator hoses out of it.
