I just pulled my exhaust gaskets off the front of my engine. They were flat and concave shaped. I think the replacement gastes are round shaped. These are what my replacements look like. Do these flatten out with age? I think this is the first time these have been pulled apart.

The exhaust rings are tubular and will crush when installed and tightened down.
