I had similar probs. My bike is a 500b and it came with 500c covers and collector/balance box.
Yours are definitely C covers, so that means your collector box is possibly off another model.
These came off mine and they are from a C model. Check if you collector has three fixing holes on the left hand side, one will be in the forward clamp (in your third pic) if the right one is fitted.
