Hey gang,

Finally getting this bike back together after tearing it all the way down.

Wiring is now my focus (of course it's crudely wired now).

The engine is revving on its own without any input from the throttle. I've check both the Murrays carbs and they are not bound.

Current setup.
MUnit / Rick's Rectifier Regulator / Rae San / Murray's Carbs / New CDI Ignition (been so long I can't remember which one I installed)

Only think I can think of would be potential vacuum leaks, where the air intake mates to the head I can see some drops of fuel on the ground after I shut it down.

It's getting close!

If your throttle return cable is not hanging up then you must have your idle turned way up too high.
You need to sort that out and tune those carbs.

Call Murray before you do anything to the carbs.

Ive been talking to Murray, when I had these installed before the teardown a buddy started turning screws... found the source of the air leak, but she still revs. Plan is to send these back in to get re-calibrated while I work on the rest of the bike.

You don't simply have the cable sitting on top of, rather than in, the adjustment ferrule on top of the carb?

Ditto at the cable splitter?
