I have a GL650 that will drain the battery in relatively short order. I am beyond ignition switch issues, but don't know where to go from there. Electrical stuff is not my strong suit. Suggestions??

Are you putting the key switch to the "P" position when switching off the bike?
How old is the battery and what type is it, flooded or AGM?
Do you have any accessories on the bike which could drain the battery?

Start unplugging random electrical connectors, eventually one will make a difference, you can track it down from there. Divide and conquer. A voltmeter set to amperage between the positive post and positive cable can measure the parasitic draw, you can use that while diagnosing.

1) It is easier to connect the ammeter or test light in place of the main fuse.

2) Work systematically. Unplugging things randomly will end up being more work.

3) Turning the key to Park (as Mike mentioned) leaves the tail light on....
