Instead of cutting off the end of my camshaft,I mounted the fan in front of the radiator. Works great and has the option to get it back to stock. The reason I added the electric fan was due to"fan knock". Now that I removed the factory fan,it's like I have a different motorcycle. Quiet,no fan knocking, and stays cool. I didn't add a thermostat, instead I put a switch on it.

Looks good, the main problem with mounting the fan before the radiator is that it can limit the travel of the front wheel/fender.

I that the stock fan from the bike just mounted on the front of the radiator or is it off of something else? If it is the stock fan, I would think it would be trying to pull air through from behind the radiator.

The stock fan is on the end of the camshaft normally. Blue. Goose has replaced that stock mechanical fan with an electric fan.

I think he was asking if it was a stock GL650 electric fan he was using.
