I'm looking at electric fans on Ebay and want to get an idea what diameter fans

youse guys who have done the mod have fitted to yours.

Theres an 8" pull fan 58mm (2 1/4") deep for £16.99 with free P&P I fancy



I reckon I could go up to 9 or even 10 inch diameter at a stretch

but want some wiggle room so 7 or 8 inch diameter seems a sensible and

workable size

I think the ZX636 Ninja fan I have is 7. I never measured it.

9" is about the most you want to go to.Size means nothing.Efficiency of the design is what is important.My Ducati fans I think are around 7" and can drive the temps down to nominal or just below to switch off the fans even on the hottest day stuck in traffic and they only draw 2 amps when on.





I've just looked at that fan and I would have bought one of those if they had been available at the time.They are new to UK Ebay.Previously the prices were well over £30 UK.

Yea my ninja fan pulls some serious air. Sucks my hand right to the front of the rad.

Of course thinking about it, too big a fan may not be the best idea

It could obstruct air flow when not in use and so get used more often

because of that !

talk about making work for yourself eh?



I think an efficient, slimline, 7"/8" fan mey be good to work with

I do fancy a new one though as I had to fix up the fan on the beemer

recently and like all bike stuff, the weather gets in eventually
