My bike is running great thanks to many suggestions here (re-jetting etc)

Here is a weird thing: As soon as I shut down the bike, gas will drip out of the 'over flow' tubes from the carb bowls.

I must quickly shut the petcock to prevent this.

Whats up with that?

It may also be dirt or wear in the float needles, so a good sort out of everything would be in order. I had one where I was mystified by a leak until I discovered the overflow itself (the brass tube that comes all the way up from the bowl)had a hairline crack in it.
