While I appreciate the vetter fairing and others that Ive seen on these bikes. I have always wanted a cruiser style fairing. Does anyone have a picture of this kind of fairing on a cx? http://www.jpcycles.com/product/752-036 I know it would be a ton of work to get it mounted but I like the style and cant afford the bike it would normally go on.

this doesnt have the windsheild mounted in the fairing but you can kinf of get the picture... i'm planning on tinting it black to match the bike

BeeBop Deluxe, Revolt into Style. Great song. I too want a small fairing, I may be forced to make my own as I cannot find what I'm looking for either? I just want to break the blast of wind a touch and I'm thinking ahead to the cooler fall weather. ..and be stylish.

I started using a sawzall by 1/3 of the way through the plexiglass started bowing and bending very rapidly.... fearing it would break, I busted out the "armstrong cutters" (aviation/tinsnips) It took me an hour and then some to hack it into chunks and get it into shape...

I had sore arms for 2days from hacking through the 1/8" plexi ... some darn tuff stuff.



The "armstrong cutters" weren't designed to cut plastic like that but they hacked right on through it like a weedwhacker with a sawblade through dense brush...



afterwards i cleaned the rough cut up with a file... i've still not mounted it on the bike yet ... no motor until i get initiative to sit in the garage and put it back together

with the origional windshield on the bike it cut the wind too good.... summer temps it was like sitting behind a greenhouse in traffic... when i pulled the greenhouse off it was great but a little breezy on the chest on cool damp mornings... and in the rain it just sucked! With the half height "glass" i really think it will be perfect sheilding the chest and hands but allowing you to breathe fresh air ... just watch out for wasps i had a close call with one that hit my helmet and died then fell inside and buzzed around a little before dying scarred me a little
