i Have a 1980 cx500. the stock mufflers are a little beat up, i just got some hd dyna mufflers from a local shop and am about to install them. no i need to rejet the carbs?

Just depends on how hollow they are. Try them on and check for response. Then adjust the fuel needle to the best performance.

Usually not. But some HD mufflers are open inside and go straight through with no baffling. If yours have the baffling in them you'll be ok.

Even without the baffling you should still be ok. I went the full on Larry carb route and have a beautiful set from him set up with stock jets, and my silencers are straight through with a small home-made baffle at the end and everything runs great. I only get about 40-45 mpg though, so maybe a set of baffled pipes might be different as far as mileage goes?
