my question is, is there a specific type of hose clamp meant to hold the intake snorkle/ air pods to the lip of the carbs? i've been using standard hose clamps and they don't stay on like they are wider than the lip of what they are clamping to.

The clamps that the bike came with are 1/4 inch or so wide.

the lip of the carb is really stubby. i finished the intake i was telling you about stitch. i still can't find my camera to post pictures but when i do i'll post some pictures.

I have seen some people use zip ties.

I have used zip ties but they are ghetto. maybe metal zip ties or cv ties.

3/8" wide hose clamps are a standard size and can be found at industrial supply places. They may have 1/4", but I've never seen them. At only 1/8th of an inch difference, they might work, never tried it myself as my OEM's are still working fine.

I'm just going to use zip ties. the standard 3/8" clamp rolls over the lip and pops off everytime.
