Yesterday I filled my CX500 up with oil, the level is sitting at mid optimum, i put in 20w50 high mileage oil as my bike has done 70 000km. I dont know if that has anything to do with my problem but that was the last thing i did to my bike before my problem started.
Today i started my bike, while giving some throttle on start up the bike started with a less than normal power output, as i let go of the throttle to let the bike idol the motor stopped running! could this have anything to do with the oil ( by the way i live in South Africa with a warm climate) or could i possibly be the jets that have clogged up?
