I pulled the bike out this morning to go to work, turned the key, and nothing, no lights, no horn, no power. I just rode the bike on Thursday. I figured the battery was dead so I pulled out the charger, and it is charged, only draws 2 amps. I did not check the battery voltage, but I would expect it to be good with such a low current draw. Won't light the indicator lights with the charger on either.

Where is a good place to start? Is there a fuse in the battery connection by chance? I am going to hopefully work on it tonight.

TIA

One more question, do they not make a place to store an extra fuse like they do for the lights?
no,not until you do the main fuse mode.then there will be spares taped to your bike, because you will do it

for now, just connect a piece of 15amp fuse wire between the terminal on the main fuse, see if your indicators work

Got home and checked the main fuse, it was good, and I have good power to the key, but have an open between the red and black connections of the switch. How bad is it to change the switch, or is it possible to break it open and try to fix it?

My fuse housing looks a little different, and there is an extra mounted on the outside of it.

Find the main multi-plug and pull it apart and spray it with some Switch cleaner or at a push some WD40 type stuff.Same with the ignition barrel. You may get lucky.
