Have inheritaded a cx650 turbo. It was my fathers last ride and just before he passed he had the boost turned down as everytime he accelerated it would kick out. I tried to explain to him to roll it on slowly but he thought better to turn it down. Anyway i want to get this thing sorted so if anyone out there can give me an idea how to turn the boost back up i would greatly appreciate it.

There might be someone in this forum who can help with a Turbo (not me though).

You might get quicker results if you post your question in the Turbo Forum.

It's not adjustable. If the computer was going into fail safe mode due to an over-boost condition that would most likely mean the wastegate arm froze up. Most of the time it can be freed up by simply working it back and forth with some pliers and applying a special high temp lubricant called mouse milk.

If the boost was "turned down" as you say, you'll need to look around the wastegate area to see if some type of external device was added.

You'll also want to repost your original message in the CX Turbo section. Most of the CXT guys don't visit other areas of the board and you'll get the most help over there.
