Any body tried this? Looks like I may have to do a little cut and weld. I'm looking for more speed from the Dan Wagner MPS-PG 500 record holder, and I find the CX650 swing arm is 1" longer, which would let us move the footpegs back 1" more (Modified Production class is a little more restricted than my class). Aero work will be our focus for his bike, for next years event..... with pegs moved back, we can set his bike a few inches lower.

The CX650 swingarm will not bolt onto the CX500 frame. ... You need to cut the nub off the CX500 swingarm and weld it onto the 650 swingarm. ...

Some stuff got really messed up in the whole back up of the old site. A lot of pages/links were moved, whilst others were lost completely. This particular old thread that you were having trouble pulling up is yet another example of whatever happened, as discussed in this thread...

Forget moving the pegs just do the Rollie Free position?
