Service the Spark plug caps,

Replace the main fuse holder,

I would actually ditch your present spark plug caps and get a new pair of none resistor types from Wemoto as per this page,
http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CX_500_A/79-80/picture/Spark_Plug_Cap/
and use Resistor type spark plugs as per,

You may have faulty coils so I would renew them as well as per,
