Hello Everyone, As My first post i shall do my best to explain My problems

I have got a 1984 A Reg Cx500C That i had converted into a trike a few years back.

The problem started at the end of last year when the Alternator failed, I had had the Alternator Re-wound, the 2 Fixed Pulsars have been Renewed, the Advance Pulsar assembly has been Renewed and checked, i have tried 2 different CDI units (Both are In working order), all the Electrics have been checked and tested and are working fine . . . . . .

My bike has been stood still for 6 months with Approx 1/2 Gallon of fuel in, But everytime i fix one part and put it all back together agian and Switch her on, It starts but wont run above 3500 RPM approx (although its runs smoothly below) . . . . . it Missfires, cough, splutters and struggles to go any further through the revs . . . . .

So if anyone has any ideas, Feedback would be very muchly appreciated . . . . .

Thanks Rob

(P.s I dont have Much hair left to pull out)

It's rare, but the filter screen in the tank can get gummed up, you have to drain all the gas, and(preferably) remove the tank to get it out. An EZ-Out works best if it's stuck in there.

Og course it could also be carb relater or a slim chance of electrical, matter of elimination.

I cant seem to get it out, but the fuel is running out of there a plenty. . . .
