Yep one wall on the right side and one wall on the left side.

No it's only single walled. The only thing on the cx that's double walled is the headers.

always with the jokes...haha

Thanks! there's a really small ding in my tank that I was hoping to push/rub out from the inside, but obviously wouldn't be possible if it was double-walled. I'm wondering if this is possible given the shape of the ding...more like a small cut/slash shape.

Drill a hole in the underside of the tunnel, round off the end of an aluminum rod 1/2" or more, and use it to slowly work the dent out. You can use pressure instead of tapping on it. That way you won't end up with dings in it that come outward. Then have the hole welded back up with a plate over the hole.

I take it from the looks of the tank that it's polished steel.

You should look into a paintless dent removal professional. Google it you'll find someone local. They have long rods with specific bends in them to get anywhere on a car like through fenders and doors. They charge like $100 for a car full of dents. The guy who does the used cars in the dealer I work for said he could fix mine we haven't talked prices yet, but hey how much could one little dent cost?
