I am wanting to replace the gauge cluster on my '78 CX500, and like the styling of the indicator lights down the middle like on the later Custom models. Are these gauge clusters interchangeable?

Yes and no. It isn't plug and play but if you cut and connect each wire to a spare gauge harness then everything should go fine.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you happen to know what voltage the gauge indicator lights are (neutral, signals, highbeam, etc...)? I think I may replace the stock lights and build a small custom panel for them, want to make sure I hook them up correctly.

I think the bulbs actually say something on them like 3.2 or 3.4

The voltage will be 12 volts. The wattage is between 3-4 watts as Blindstitch says. Depends on if they are Honda (Stanley), or ASAE bulbs.
