I need to be directed to the thread for the correct tool for carb balancing. My Clymer manual calls it a "carburetor adjusting wrench" where can I purchase one? Thank you, I know this is redundant, but my head is left spinning after reading so many posts.

I use a similar one, from Motion Pro I think. It works well on SilverWings with the triple frame tubes, not so well on CXs with the the big single frame tube as I recall. Others may have more CX experience.

I have the Motion Pro tool and found the same issue as Rich. On the CX, I use an 8mm wrench and a long skinny screwdriver.

1) I made my own version from stuff I had. To use it I turn the nut with a 7/16 wrench. It works well for me.

2) Why are you using a Clymer manual when the Factory Shop Manual is available from the CX Wiki and is so much better?

3) please take a couple of minutes to add your location and your bike's model and model year to your profile as I asked you to do 2 years ago (see Forum Settings link in my signature)
