It runs. I brought the jets back to stock but the need to adjust the air mixtures screws on the bottom of the carb. Runs bad without the choke

compression is sitting around 100 and left side just a bit less. Didn’t see a change hot. Throttle was wide open.

The second part of a compression check is to add some oil to the cylinder. If compression pressure improves indicates a ring problem, if no change the a valve problem.

How much should I apply and what should I use to put the oils in the area. Should I pull the valve cover to do this ?

You shouldn't need to pull the valve cover, just remove the spark plug, add a teaspoon or so of oil. Easiest to add the oil with a syringe and tubing. I use the one used for measuring two stroke oil when mixing fuel. Crank the engine a few times with the plugs out to spread the oil then check compression again.
By the way, are you doing the compression test with both plugs removed?

I did it both ways. One plug in and both out

Put some oil in and it didn’t change the compression. 100 both sides. Wonder if it just need to be ran for awhile. Some mileage.

Compression equal both sides is encouraging.
Can you do a leakdown test ?
I don't have a leak tester yet. Might have to purchase one on amazon
