I would imagine the Blue wire as the other looks green/ground?

You may find problems down the line with heat off the engine.I would consider some kind of deflector.If you do get any misfiring or rough running later on then suspect coil heat breakdown.

Good point. I kinda thought about that too, so I've been checking them to touch after each ride. So far so good, but that's not a definitive test. If those symptoms occur in the future I'll swap them out with a spare pair I bought a the same time. I think I payed $4 when I bought them a few months ago.
