Relocating without using using the stock position can be a pain.



I cut 1/2 way through the bracket on the coils themselves. One to the front and one to the rear so I could bolt them together. The coil brackets must have 20 individual flat pieces that make up the area to bolt to. Then I bolted them to a thin piece of metal and bolted that to the right side coil/engine bracket. I thought I had a picture but I guess it ran away.



The newer coils also have longer wires so it's possible to put them farther away.

since they only have a single mounting bolt I attached them to the rear engine hanger brackets( one on each bracket). There is a hole already drilled out in the brackets in which they fill well. I added a lock washer so they wouldn't wiggle loose. I've put a little over 100 miles on with them so far and no issues.

Interesting. So which of the two wires did you hook up?
