Hi Peeps,



My clutch has been adjusted but When engine warms up (10 miles) the cable slackens a fair bit and I get more play on the lever.



The clutch then becomes more prone to slipping.



I changed plates and springs about 8000 miles ago.



The clutch cable is 3 months old.



Any ideas?

Could the cable be touching the exhaust or heads and elongating due to heat? How are old clutch springs affected by heat? Just some ideas to toss around.

Good points, the cable could be getting hot. I do run it close to the engine.



Ill bet thats it because I opened it all up the other day and found nothing wrong.
