Sooo, do you guys have any "simplified" wiring diagrams here on the site??



basically, i am thinkin of just running headlight, tail light, and turn signals....not sure what sensors (if any) these bikes have (78 cx500) being water cooled n all!??



might not even run stock bar switches.....



are alot of you guys turnin these suckers into cut down chops or bobbers???

There's a lot that can be cut out if you want. I prefer turn signals but if you got rid of them a lot of wire would be removed.



The only tie back to the engine sensor wise is an oil pressure sensor, temp gauge sensor and a neutral sensor. The oil and temp could be ran off manual gauges.





I guess an ill dream of mine would be to someday have a project cx and cut all the wires out of the front end except for the headlight bucket and gauge lights.

That's cool about the sensors.....wasn't sure if there were cutoffs for overheating or some craziness!!! I could lose the oil pressure light (most bikes they come on too late anyway), neutral light, and temp sensor then.



leaving only charging, igntition, and minimal lighting.......hhhhmmmmmm, this thing could turn into a pretty cool bobjob!!



got me thinkin now.......
