Ok. I've switched to the other carbs to see if it would run with one spark plug cap removed. The carbs I took off wouldn't run on the right with the left plug removed. The other set I put on tonight won't run on the left with the right removed. What exactly should I address with these carbs? Before any one says combine two into one I'm not going to. What should I be looking at? Float level? Idle jets? I've tried adjusting the air screw to no avail. I've attempted a balance but ran out of time.

I'd also like to know how important is it that the bike runs when you pull a spark wire? Does anyone else out there have the same problem, but still ride and enjoy the bike? Is it something we all have to deal with having old bikes with old parts?

You've demonstrated that it's carburetor related. Sounds like a blocked idle circuit.
