Hi Everyone!

After rebuilding my carbs with the help of Larry's book I wanted to sync my carbs with the help of a cheap vacuum gauge. On both carbs I got a steady 7 inch in the red area. So I looked this up and got mixed results on this. Some places mentioned it could be caused by several things and other places mention it is actualluly not a big deal as long as they're in sync. I was wondering if any of you have experience with this and if/how to solve it. Maybe some common problems on the cx to this problem.

Thanks for your expertise!

Just get them the same and otherwise ignore the graduations on the gauge.

I suspect from 'late valve timing' you may have the same gauges as me.

You used new O rings on the manifolds/runners?

I haven't used new ones as the old ones seemed fine. Do you think I should replace them?
