anybody ever try leaving out the rubber plugs in the carbs ? (the one by the jets) will it run way too rich or what ? just curious.

Yes, it will run rich. You would be bypassing the jet and going strait in through the cross over hole from the low jet chamber.

I guess you could try it if you just want to see though.
