Are you trying to bench sync them? Or while they are on the bike running?

Nice job by the way! They look sharp.

Thanks Larry, you had alot to do with the success. I already did the bench test, just used two 1/4 drill bits and got em perfect. I am referring to the ports on which I will attach the hoses for a carb sync tool.

thanks for the o-ring btw

Do you see the Phillips head screw in the top of the intake manifold near the cylinder head? That screw comes out and you put the 5mm tube in there and then connect the manometer to that. One for each side.

By the way, use the tiny hole inside by the throttle plates to bench sync the carbs. It's much more accurate. Adjust the left carb idle speed screw so that it just barely shows the edge of the hole. Now adjust the right carb so it matches the left side. You need to snap the throttle a few times after each time you adjust the screw.

Just to say what has been said several times in the past. Using that type of air cleaner can lead to all kinds of problems in getting the bike to runs smooth. the proper vacuum is required to make the carbs work like they are supposed to. Many have gone back to the standard intake to make them work properly.

If you have modified the carbs to work with this type of air cleaner, please disregard this posting.
