I'm in the middle of a carb clean process and either I have lost or they got chewed up somewhere along the way 3 O-rings. The schematics don't show these relating to a certain size, just that they are there. The 3 missing are noted below,

1) Vacuum Passage O-Ring

2) Idle Adjustment Needle O-Ring

3) Drain Screw O-Ring

I have a very good local source for O-rings, I just need to know the sizes for the three. I have one of the Vacuum and Drain screw so if needed I will use those as references, but the Idle Adjustment (which I do have, what's left of it) is toast.

You know 10 years ago I would have done something like this blindfolded, Nowadays it seems everything I am touching ends up screwed up. URGHHH!!!

Where does this vacuum passage o-ring go that you refer to? Is it for the side plate on the carb that covers the ACV valve?

I have new idle mixture o-rings as well as the fuel cross over O-rings. The others I can come up with too. But first let me know about this vacuum o-ring.

yes, it should be the ACV valve. It is the one shown in your guide on page 27 under assembly.

I don't need the crossover o-rings, they were in great shape to begin with.

I should have thought about the idea of using the washer for the idle mixture o-ring.

To let you know how bad this is getting. I found that one of the passages on the ACV cover was blocked, i.e. the hard way. Was checking with spray carb cleaner and got me a face full of cleaner when it didn't go through the hole. At least I had my glasses on and only get a bit in the corner of the eye. Ain't life fun.

Update, I found the idle mixture O-ring hiding inside another part. Sneaky little devil.

Go to www.randakks.com. Randall Washington lists all the parts in his rebuild kit and includes the "O" ring sizes on that list.

Great source, thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't list the ACV o-ring. It is in the photo as included but not on the spec list. As I stated above I found my missing idle screw o-ring. But the list did give me the specs for the drain plug one. 2 down, 1 more to go.

There was also some sort of huge list over on the Australian site if I recall.

Going to check out my local supplier tomorrow morning. Figured I'd just take the carb with me to size up the ACV one and I got the proper spec for the drain screw. It's one of those places if he ain't got it, then it's gonna be hard to find. I got both o-rings for the carb insulators last week for .88 cents. I'll post tomorrow after I make the run.
