A bit of seafoam is a good idea. For the winter there are lots of little camps.

Fill with gas with stabil in it.
Turn the petcock to off and run the bike till it dies. Carbs should be dry then.
Extreme cases would be to just remove from the bike. Some people do this along with the gas tank and side panels.
