The bike has been running great with no apparent issues since getting it back together in late April. I've put close to 3000 miles on in it. Recently with the temps rising, i see more coolant leak topics arising and yes I now have one. Seems to be coming from the fan area. I've checked the hoses and they are dry. Could I have a fan bolt issue? Also, noticed a nut backed out from one of the motor mounts located under the handle bars. The Bolt is still there, so maybe the excess vibration and the add the heat and finally the leak appeared. I'm speculating here. My fear is with the motor mount loose, maybe I damaged the cam?? Any takers here?

Second. My cam chain bolt seem to have oil coming from it. Is it the o-ring?? If so can I back it all the way out to replace??

There is nothing to leak coolant around the fan bolt. The only things in front of it is the radiator and its hoses. Above the fan and to the rear is the thermostat.

A loose motor mount bolt should have no effect as to damaging the cam. Vibration could possibly shake loose a hose clamp or fitting, but that is stretching it.

Sorry, you can't back out the cam tensioner bolt far enough to change the O ring. I wouldn't try it either. You don't want to release the cam tensioner off the locking bolt. About the only remedy is to clean the area with solvent and force silicon sealer around the bolt head. That seems to work temporarily until you have to remove the rear cover for other reasons.
