Today I received my new Caltric stator for my 80 cx500c.
it looks like the G8 model but the windings are not coated
I am wondering if this is normal and will still work fine
Also there are a couple winding wires that are a little loose
will these affect anything or should I send it back?

We'll need to see pictures.
Generally, there is a very thin coat of resin, thin enough that it won't look like it's there.

"Floppy" wires, however, can be problematic.
Hi res pictures of the area you are concerned about would help for diagnostic purposes.

The engine is a high-vibration environment. If the windings are loose and can rub then the insulation will be worn, potentially resulting in premature failure due to a short.
