Phil, this is the first bike I have owned with this style mirror. I still head check as well, but I do that with any mirror. Not sure if people can see the plate or not, just worried about the cops not people anyway.2 quick questions:
1. How do you like the bar end mirrors? I have ran with them before and personally think they are useless.
2. Can people behind you actually see your plate on that angle?
Good to hear, on all accounts. As a side note - I did take it for a good ride the other day and for all those concerned about the pipes, they did just fine. It was kinda hard going around corners in a lean and looking at them, but I did a couple times (at slow speeds for safety). No pole vaulting or pipe damage at all.And it purrs like a kitten ( a big angry kitten).![]()
very nice, yellow radiator and all![]()
Footpegs are straight off ebay. Got them to match the shocks.Where did you get those footpegs? I've been searching for new ones on the web, makes me feel like I'm webdumb.
AND, could you get some close up pics of the start button and kill switch, whatever you relocated? I need a better idea of what you did there.
I 2nd Zens post. I'd love to see the setup with your start button. Planning on doing that over the winter.
and BTW-The yellow struck me as odd at first, but I've visited this thread daily since you posted and it's definitely growing on me.
