So, I bought the deep, spitfire, fiberglass, nice 7" bucket off rock city cafe's site..

however, I have a 7" (stock) ring and headlight, nothing seems to fit it. I think if I mod the headlight, I can get it inside, however - I need a new ring.



The stock ring measures a little larger than 7" diameter. I need a new ring EXACTLY 7" (diameter of bucket I got)



any suggestions?

I have talked to Sean at rock city, the ring he used in the picture is from an early 70s (73 I think) cb350. Get yourself one of those and you're money.

thanks man. I wanna be certain and 100% before buying off ebay. any chance you can check the email for the year?

well, I found quite a few on ebay, they are pretty expensive, and none seem to be in great condition. I've sent all the sellers questions about the exact sizes, we'll see where that goes. I see a challenge mounting the ring to the bucket too...

most replies, the seller doesn't know the exact diameter or the ring. some (who own a ruler/tape measure) are saying "yes" or "Hello, the ring is 7 1/8"
