while trying to take the forks out the left side bottom bolt on the yoke sheared clean off. Does any know of any solution besides drilling the bolt out. im scared that it might damage the the threads on the inside of the yoke.
Drill a small hole and use an easyout but heat the there side slightly add some oil to the bolt let it cool remove bolt if it will not come out re heat and try it hot works for me 90% of the time
If you have a wire welder you can place a nut on top of the broken bolt then weld it on through the center of the nut. Once cool just remove it with a wrench. The heat from welding helps loosen it up also.
Don't be to afraid it is a pinch bolt so worst case drill straight thru and put a longer bolt with a nut not as pretty but it will work
