So a couple weeks ago i all of a sudden had unbearable pain in one of my teeth, turns out it was a fractured root and the tooth needed to be pulled... yay for a week of recovery and liquid food since they tore my mouth up so bad

then this weekend I was driving my truck to my parents' house and the engine blew... threw a rod through the engine block

so now comes the worst part... because I have no money it seems as though i'm going to have to sell the bike, and my lawn mower, and the engagement ring set I have... and whatever else I can find to sell...

needless to say i wont be on the site much anymore, I'll stop in to give advice from time to time but wont be around much

I want to thank everyone for their support and advice throughout the year i've had the bike, and I wish you all the best of luck with your projects

Dustin, keep the faith brother. 27 years ago I went through a tough spell. Wife got sick and I sold near everything I owned to pay the bills. '53 Chevy PU, '46 ford PU, VW camperbus, 1931 Ford Town sedan, 2 Triumph Spitfires, three racing bicycles, all my guitars, most of the furniture,.... I kept my motorcycle though. A couple of years ago I got hurt at work and tore up my shoulder to the point I couldn't work at woodworking anymore and had to sell all my shop tools. Then I was unemployed for 14 months until getting a job 6 months ago and had to sell 8 guitars, all my recording equipment, 10 rifles, 12 handguns, 5 shotguns, most of the rest of my tools to pay the mortgage etc....kept my motorcycle though. My point is material things are just that, and not that important in the grand scheme of things. Your luck will turn and better times will come. Try to keep riding if you can, it is less expensive than driving. And your soul will thank you.

Well just to ease your pain. My left front top tooth broke off in my sleep last night. I just got back from the dentist where they superglued it back in and said it probably wasn't going to hold long or under any force.

Monday I get to do the whole post, cap, and crown fun. I wish it was tomorrow.
