I’m looking for some suggestions on a different m/c. My rectangle style on my 79 CX500C leeks out the top. New gasket and still leaks. It must be warped. It does not need to look stock. I’ve had several bikes over the years and I like the round style. screwing that cap on is quit simple. Anyone have a suggestion? I’m going to switch to bar end mirrors so it doesn’t have to acomidate a mirror.
I bought a new master from TC Brothers to replace a crappy one that started leaking in less than 6 months. The master from TC Bros has worked perfectly. Way better quality, smooth operation and feels solid. I’ve had no issues at all with it leaking or seeping out of the top cover. It’s also very reasonable. This isn’t a round reservoir but if you’re looking for rectangular one it’s a great option.
Make sure whatever you buy has the same piston size as the one you are taking off. If it doesn't you may not stop as quickly or you may sliding the front wheel due to too much pressure when applying.
