I had a squeaky pro-link, and I was noticing handling problems. Turns out the rear suspension was basically non-functional - I was riding a hardtail Silverwing! Fixed now, but I suspect this is why my new Dunlop tire with about 3,000 miles on it is scrubbed down to slick. Don't ignore your prolink!

On the GL500's the don't have the traditional swingarm and twin shock rear suspension like a CX500 we have a multi-link mono shock setup like on modern street bikes.
