Coversion is moving forward, but run across another problem. Got hold of cx 500c radiator shroud with polished covers, but as many other parts, it didnt fit.......anyone got any tip??? Do the gl500 shroud fit??

From what I remember the CX500 left radiator side cover will fit the GL's without modifications, and the right radiator side cover can be trimmed to fit.



I do not know if the GL500 cover (shroud) will fit.

the OP has a "700" which I imagine is a 650. They had thinner radiators than the 500's with mechanical fans. I'd suspect he's going to need cx650 shrouds to fit.



I put CX 500 trim on my 500 interstate, left side was direct fit, right side also direct fit, but only one of the top screws holes lined up. Still went on snugly though with the 3 screws instead of four.
