OK, thinking out loud here:
As I am trying to put together a master plan for my project before I dig in, I was thinking of anodizing my engine cylinders/caps. I don't want the rest of the engine anodized (or least not the same color), but am lead to believe I'll have to "dip" the engine in order to do this.
So,
Has it been done before, that you know of?
Should it be done, or is it too risky, or likely to fade/react poorly with the engine heat?
Cost estimates? (I would plan on doing tank, wheels, and a few small parts at the same time).
This would be a "pro" job should I go through with it, so no need to run up home brew costs.
Any ideas?
