Pulled the gas tank off 1982 GL500I ant the vacuum tube and fresh air tube are hooked together and run to the vacuum on the carberator. Is this correct? Seems wrong. The vacuum line should go to the carb vacuum I am thinking. But I have no idea where the fresh air tube goes. Any help would be really appreciated.

you should have 3 nipples on the petcock large one goes to carb one of the small ones goes to the vent on carb and the other should go to the bottom of the bike as a vent if i had a pic i would show you but i dont

So the "breather" tube connects to the petcock then routes toward the bottom of the bike but does not connect to anything, right?
