ok how much air goes into the forks on a 82 500 c i want to say its between 8 to 10 psi or what i think i recall on the old cc were some one said 16? but i dont think it relates to the cx line but more to the gl's correct me if i am wrong here please

The listed range on the factory sticker on the fuse holder for a 1982 CX500 custom is 10 to 16 psi.

ok cool so i did good by only putting 10 in that works for me

Lucky The sticker on my 82 GL says 11-17 PSI. I run about 13-15 PSI for a nice firm ride, thats about 5 pumps from my sons football hand pump. Do not use compressed air as you'll over pressurize them in a heartbeat.

yea i knew about using a hand pump but i wasnt sure on the psi so i put in 10 and all is good
