A Thank You to the Moderation Team

You guys have done what I feel is an absolutely splendid job of making, what was somewhat chaotic not long ago, a very civil and reliable, well toned forum. I mean, when the first sign of the infiltration began, and CC made the choice to have help, he chose the ones HE respected to keep the balance we love here.

The ensuing questions, the unknowns of the new software, the possible faults.....all have been handled with total class and aplomb. I thank you all for the effort, energy and time, and most of all, for the absolute desire to keep this board the damn best resource this bike class could ever possibly hope for in the future.

And to Charles, you did the best thing of all.....you made it yours and ours. Thank you.

Although I believe the moderators deserve thanks for their efforts at irradiating spam and keeping some peace. The real thanks always goes to the members. Without great members and Charles leadership we wouldn't be where we are now. We are all representatives of this great forum spanning the globe and as long as we give our fellow man or women a hand we will stay the envy of the cx/gl groups.
i fully agree Ramprat.the forum even for their first week was a bit rough on them.

now,a few weeks down the line, you would,nt even know there were moderators.

well done guys

I agree Rat - it's very nice now, this Tofu of Forums.

Well, I agree with BS, I think I deserve a big pat on the back!
Just kidding, both are correct, the old saying "it takes a village to raise a child" is very true here, It does take all of us acting in an adult responsible way to have the kind of civil, informative and fun forum we now have!

By all means - thanks!

Idiots found us and just went from there, had it not be stopped we could have been plagued.
Nothing else to add at this point but another hearty "THANKS".
Agree, this is a Well moderated and Great forum!

All in all I would have to agree, but I do notice some inconsistencies,,there was a political humor post by one member that was removed,,yet there are other political humor posts that are just as partisan or false as that post was that are not removed. I have no objection to political humor, especially if it is bi-partisan, but I don't know what is allowed and what is not.

As far as spam removal,,the team does an excellent job keeping that crap out.

I always read what's new, so I never even missed the one that was removed... I read, laugh, and move on....

but to be an echo- Thanks, guys!

I have to agree with Don, all we did was sweep the dust out. It took all the members to bring it back to a happy family. It IS nice to see things clean and calm again though. It has allowed us to get back to what we do best, help and share! Thank Charles for the tools though. Without them some of us might not be here still. I have noticed though that now that things are clean and calm again that the new members list is growing again.

In my opinion it's the members that need to take a bow.

As a reminder, if you think we have missed something that is out of the allowed rules, there is the "report" button. We all have other things going on sometimes and may miss certain post. I try to browse through the topics a couple times a day. But when they get long winded I don't read all of them. I have been focused on a paint job as some of you know. So if you want to share your concerns with one of us you can always PM us with it or report it. Were not trying to be heavy handed. It takes all of us to keep things smooth. And I for one have been impressed with the current and returned tone of this great worldly forum!

I am very thankful for all of our members. I have learned a lot about our bikes and purchased parts I probably wouldn't have found elsewhere. Thanks to all of you.

I love you man.....(and woman) lol.

I can't imagine what owning a CX or GL would be like without this network of support, both mechanical and spiritual.

I really don't think I'd have one.

My sincere thanks
