A CX with hondaline fairing and hard bags? The fairing bracket I knew about... but how did you get the bags mounted? Was that a factory option I'm not familiar with, or did you do some modifications there?

Charles, You did see this bike at the BRMC with those bags on it.



When I got it, the bracket was there. It was a factory option as well. However the CORRECT bags for it open from the top. Like the GL1200 Aspencade. I have a pic of those below. The PO took them off and threw em away. It makes me sick to hear that. They are very rare now. Ive bought cars for less. The brackets show up on ebay from time to time. Mostly without bags. When usable bags come on eBay, holy crap. You'll pay if you want them.



The bags above, are from a GL500 I. I believe from an 82. I took all brackets off. Drilled four holes per side, and bolted em up. They did not fair well. After about a year they started cracking from the holes in the back. Would leak. Wouldn't close well either.
