The exhaust pipe mod looks pretty cool. Let us know how that headlight does. We're enjoying the build and the pics, keep them coming.

Ok, just a little progress lately, I got my mirror plugs, new grips, levers, allen screws, ground the letters off my master cylinder cover, new Goodridge Ebony brake line, and powder coated a bunch of small bits.
The second photo is the drilled/slotted baffles for my mufflers. They will be wrapped with 3/4" of kaowool, then welded into my stock megaphones.

Front end coming together.
Taper roller bearing headset conversion
Fork seals - 20wt. fork oil
PVC preload spacers
Accordian boots
Wheel bearings
Kenda Big Block
Black Cerakoted PVC sleeves for the upper section of fork tube
to cover rust pitting, and create the illusion of a larger fork tube.
And powder coating on every surface...

I'm a potter with a gas kiln. What else is required to powdercoat?
400 degree oven, once the actual part hits 400, you start the timer, about 10 min after that.
I have an Eastwood powder gun-kit. It was about $129.
Buy colors from Prismatic Powders, about $19/lb. +$6.95 for next day shipping.

Nothing major, but I received my fuse box from Blue Sea Systems.
I plan to relocate the dash fuses, and starter solenoid to this box, under the seat.
It feels heavy-sturdy built. I feel it will fill my need nicely, for about $25.

Awesome Bike. Couple of questions, what mirrors are those and how did you mount your rear fender? I got the same one for my build and have been puzzled on how to mount it. Could you share a couple more pics?

All in one multi gauge / micro horn, Shorai Li-Fe compact battery, and a pic of my donor wheel for the Frankenwheel conversion.
I have delivery trucks stopping by almost every day...
My horn is a little quite. Do you have a link to yours?

Thanks,

Kemimoto mirrors (Amazon).
My Vietnam seat has a few threaded holes in the bottom.
I plan to use one of them, and I will weld a small tab on the rear hoop also.

Last fall I brought her home looking like this...I paid $600, 17k mi., garage kept (mostly), and new Hondaline oil EVERY year!
I have a HUGE pile of parts waiting... and so it begins.
I always say, "I am not interested in the 'Samsonite' look." Those suitcases look like actual Samsonite! ;)
I look forward to your adventure!
