The custom seat bolts to the back of the frame as you know. It's also a bit narrower than the deluxe. However, the deluxe seat even though it's wider in the back, uses a mounting bar bolted under the seat that slides into two slots built into the deluxe frame. It wouldn't work as a direct swap.
