I've been looking for an oil gauge since lack of pressure might have led to my connecting rod bearings to snap.
any advice for mounting would be appreciated.

This is the one I'm getting ready to order unless someone has a better recommendation:

I'm thinking about using something like this to hold it:

I'm sure you've done it...but search "oil pressure gauge" on the Forum..

I should have added, my interpretation is.... most think a capillary tube gauge isnt ideal for bikes....I thought of fitting a pressure gauge myself some time ago, but that project went on the back-burner..as they do..a digital gauge may be the preferred choice (for function/fitment)

I wonder how long an automotive style gauge, which is unlikely to be exposed to the elements, will last in a motorcycle application?

Re#4 not long..unless sealed really well... think S/Bob contributed on that (sealing instruments)..even marine types aren't warranted....(for bike use)
(I was going to go an Auto coolant temp gauge then went a bike specific digital)
