Yes,, I put front and back wheels off a 78 on my 81 custom. Spanish Bandit did this with a GL, It was an easy bolt on

swap in my case.

Cool. I am thinking about making Ole' Bessie into a third world assault bike and for that I need knobbies and the russians that make the tires for the ural don't make them in a 17 inch. I was reading that those tires are abit scary on the road, there good on "unimproved" roads and wear like Iron.
